Fit & Sizing

How to choose your shapewear size (and when to size up)

Sculpt Faja

The right size is what makes shapewear feel smooth instead of tight. Too small and it digs in; too large and it will not shape. Here is a simple way to choose.

Step 1: Measure yourself

Use a soft measuring tape and keep it snug, not tight.

  • Bust: around the fullest part of your chest.
  • Waist: around the narrowest part of your torso, usually just above the navel.
  • Hips: around the fullest part of your hips and glutes.

Step 2: Compare with the size chart

Every brand sizes differently, so always check the chart on the product page. Our size guide explains how to measure and how our sizes work.

When should you size up?

Situation What we suggest
You want a firm, sculpted feel Choose your usual size
You prefer a more relaxed, comfortable fit Size up
Your measurements fall between two sizes Choose the larger size
You plan to wear it for many hours Choose the size that lets you sit and breathe comfortably

Signs your shapewear is the wrong size

  • It rolls down or bunches at the waist or thighs, which can mean it is too large.
  • It leaves deep marks, pinches or makes it hard to sit or breathe, which can mean it is too small.
  • It creates bulges at the edges instead of a smooth line, which usually means you should try another size.

Fit tips for bodysuits and fajas

Put the garment on slowly and adjust it in sections, starting from the hips and working up. For bodysuits with adjustable straps, such as the Aurelle bodysuits, set the straps last so the torso sits flat.

Frequently asked questions

What if I am between sizes?

Do all your pieces use the same sizing?

Shapewear is available in sizes S to 3XL depending on the piece, and our push-up bras use band sizes 34 to 50. Bras run small, so take one size up from your usual size.
